Books I need to read ASAP

This list is also known as “why-the-fuck-haven’t-I-read-those-books-yet?!” or the “what-is-wrong-with-me” list ๐Ÿ˜‰ There’s someone I know (Yvonne) who’s going to nod viciously at a few books I mention and I don’t blame her ๐Ÿ˜‰ She’s been telling me to read most of these books like… a million times!

So here are the books I need to read ASAP to see what all the hype is about. Preferable I’d like to read them all this year, but who am I kidding haha!ย  I hope I’ll read at least a few ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Nocte by Courtney Cole
  • Angelfall by Susan Ee
  • The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey
  • The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
  • Cinder by Marissa Meyer
  • The One Thing by Marci Lyn Curtis
  • Miss Peregrineโ€™s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
  • Half Bad by Sally Green
  • A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray

I have literally no excuses anymore for why I’m not reading these books. I mean, I even own half of them! ๐Ÿ˜€ So here’s to everyone who don’t get why I haven’t read these books yet, I’m promising you to read these soon!!!

Now, tell me, do YOU also have a few books you just keep leaving on your shelves, although you’re 90% sure that you’ll enjoy these books? Let me know in the comments! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. One huge YEEEES to the first 8 books you mentioned! And after you read the Grisha trilogy (Shadow & Bone, just in case you don’t know what I’m talking about) you need to read Six of Crows … well, if you liked the other books, obviously. BUT IT’S BRILLIANT AND I LOVED IT! โ™ฅ

So yes, better get on with it and finish those gorgeous books … I won’t stop bothering you. ๐Ÿ˜›

  2. A lot of those books are really great. You should definitely start them soon! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Except A Thousand Pieces of You. You should postpone that one as long as possible and preferably never read it all. (a)

  3. I really loved Shadow and Bone and ACOTAR, so I defintely recommend giving them a try! Though I do also have a big pile of books that I still need to read, like Cinder, Red Rising and Outlander. But I don’t mind having a big TBR: there’s always a good book waiting ๐Ÿ™‚
