My thoughts

The amount of picture I see of this series on bookstagram is insane.
It’s only very recently that I realized I actually like reading graphic novels, so I finally made the decision to pick this one up.

The artwork:

To be honest, I’m not 100% sure I like it. It’s a different style from what I’ve seen in other GN, but it’s definitely not ugly, but yeah… also not my top favorite. I do like the way the two main characters look though!

The plot & characters:

Now we’re talking! THIS STORY IS SO MUCH FUN! I really like how the plot line is going so far! I was actually surprised by the ending of this volume and I cannot wait to read more.

I also love the way Hazel narrates through the issues. I’m so curious to find out more about her. Especially her loved one that she briefly mentions? Please, give me more!

Overall this was a great start! It definitely fulfilled my expectations. I was a bit scared I would end up finding it weird because of all the hype, but like I said, it’s so much fun!
